I have always liked the smell and taste of cinnamon but after visiting Cinnamon Vogue I really learned a lot. Cinnamon Vogue has Ceylon Cinnamon which is soft and crumbly, tastes mild yet slightly sweeter, with hints of citrus and clove and very aromatic when boiled or brewed. Unlike the Cassia Cinnamon which is what is available at your local grocery store, Ceylon Cinnamon has ultra low Coumarin levels so it won’t damage your liver. Ceylon Cinnamon is called ” True Cinnamon ” because it is unique and native to this tiny Indian Ocean Island of Sri Lanka.
I received a couple different products. First the Ceylon Cinnamon Tea which I really enjoyed. To me there is nothing more relaxing than a nice hot cup of tea. What I liked is that one tea bag was strong enough to make two cups of tea. The tea bag is infused with Ceylon Cinnamon Bark Oil which gives it the great flavor. I had no idea that cinnamon was so good for your health. It can help control blood sugar, indigestion, stomach flu, boost your energy level, improve your alertness, memory retention, stomach cramps, cancer mitigation, improve your digestion and help reduce cholesterol.
I also received Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks. The Cinnamon sticks represent some of the highest quality Ceylon Cinnamon sticks which are chosen for their color, shape, small size, quilling density, premium taste and exotic aroma. You can use the Ceylon Cinnamon sticks in Coffee, tea, flavored sugar, custards, flans, mulled wine the list is endless.
The final product Was the World’s best Cinnamon Leaf Oil. Ceylon Cinnamon Leaf Oil is an anti-bacterial powerhouse that is often used to neutralize odors and create a pleasant exotic scent. Used in massage oils for its warming effects, Cinnamon oil also makes a powerful bug and insect repellant, a great bleach alternative disinfectant for the house and a very effective plant pesticide and mold killer. Who knew Cinnamon Leaf Oil could do so much. I read that it is great for killing ants. We occasionally will have ants in the house - not sure why they come but can’t wait to use the Cinnamon Leaf Oil to get rid of them. I read that ants use the sense of smell to find food and the Oil gets in their nose and they get mixed up and leave.
