My Review:
I love the town of Fool’s Gold ~ it would be the town I would want to live in. I love how everyone gets along and are friends. This book is about Taryn and Angel.
Taryn is part owner of Score a PR firm along with 3 ex-football players. She is tough and keeps her heart shut. She grew up with an abusive father who hurt her and she could never count on. She left when she was 17 with help from a neighbor. She worked hard to put herself through college and even lived in her car.
Angel worked for the bodyguard school. He had settled in Fool’s Gold about a year ago. He didn’t really want to get too involved with the town or people. You see his wife and son had been killed in an auto accident. He thinks he is to blame because he wasn’t there to protect them.
Angel had been watching Taryn when she came to check out Fool’s Gold. He was interested in her. Both wanted to keep there hearts protected. You will want to read When We Met to see what happens. I loved the story and can’t wait to tell you about the next book in the series Before We Kiss. Which I will do tomorrow!
