Description
New York Times bestselling sensation Susan Mallery returns to Fool’s Gold, California, where it’s true that sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs…
Former pro-football kicker Sam Ridge has notoriously bad luck with women—from cheaters to fame chasers. Still, the gorgeous brunette at the bar in Fool’s Gold looks harmless—until she takes him home and he discovers a room devoted to securing a man, for life.
Dellina Hopkins never guessed that storing gowns from a friend’s bridal boutique would chase away her first and only fling. After her parents died, she skipped her “wild youth” to raise her sisters. She doesn’t want forever from Sam, but one night—all night—would’ve been nice.
His clean getaway gets messy when his firm hires Dellina to plan an event. As long hours lead to late nights, the two succumb to temptation again. Has Sam’s luck finally changed? Or this time, will Dellina be the one to run?

My Review:
Fool’s Gold is such a nice little town, I wish I lived there. I love all the festivals and how the Mayor Marsha knows everything that is going on, and when needed gives just a little push! This story is about Sam and Dellina.
Dellina had an event planning business that she was very busy with. She was contacted by Sam one of the owners of Score a PR business who had an upcoming weekend event he needed help with. It took Sam awhile to contact Dellina as he had a weird encounter with Dellina in the past. He was a bit nervous about working with her.
Neither Sam or Dellina where looking for anything serious. Sam was an ex-football player and his ex-wife wrote a tell all story about their relationship. Sam’s Mom and Dad were pretty free in talking about sex and even wrote books and did lectures. Dellina had raised her two younger sisters after her parents died. There was a spark - you will need to read Before We Kiss to find out what happens!
I received a Copy of this book from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for the review, and the review is honest and my responsibility
