I have never really been a big fan of Halloween so I have never craved a pumpkin. Rex on the other hand loves Halloween and was so excited when I received a Sweet Creations By Gook Cook Pumpkin Carving Kit. He couldn’t wait to start. He picked out the perfect pumpkin and got everything ready.

He picked out the bat design from the 10 stencils that came with the kit and taped it on the pumpkin. I used the the tracer that came with the kit and did the outline. Then we took the design off. I then traced the design with a black pen so that it was easy to see. The rest was up to Rex ~ he took the top off and used the scoop/scraper to get the seeds and guts out of the pumpkin.

Then Rex used the other tools included in the Sweet Creations Pumpkin Craving Kit to cut out the bat design that came with the kit. Using the stencil and the tools made it easy to crave the pumpkin. The kit contains: 10 paper stencils, 2 saws, 1 scraper, 1 drill and 1 punch wheel. The kit helped make craving the pumpkin fun and easy to do. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and now we have a cut pumpkin for Halloween.
