Synopsis:
There is nothing more exciting than when your best friend gets married. And for Elsie McKenna, it seems like she’s got the maid of honor thing figured out. But as the big day date gets closer and wedding planning takes over, Elsie’s friendship with the bride-to-be, Res, begins to go downhill. To make matters worse, Elsie’s boyfriend, the long-suffering Jonah, becomes increasingly distant. It’s not too soon before Elsie begins to wonder if there’s something in the air in Phoenix, or if it’s just a nasty case of wedding fever.

Penny Kim is a Washington, DC lurker and resident of Alexandria, Virginia. She is active in several area book groups that span several genres, from murder mysteries to chick lit and beyond. My Review:
This was a good book with a bit of a twist. I liked that it was an easy read and kept me reading to the end. It reminded me of planning my wedding - from the dress fittings to the reception. Res is planning her wedding to David. Elsie’s her best friend is there to help her along the way. Elsie’s boyfriend Jonah wants more from her than she wants to give at the time. She was already to get married once upon a time but called it off. Elsie and Res friendship starts to suffer along the way of making the plans. Res does make it up to Elsie at the end - you will need to read what she does to make things right.

I thought this book was something else before I read the review. But this book sounds so interesting and I like the story line. This is a book that I would love to read!

Well your review has me intrigued! I’m not big on reading about wedding plans though, to be honest I didn’t much enjoy planning my own wedding! But I do want to know what happens!
