I have recently got back in my crafty mode so I was excited when I was offered to review this book on the crocodile stitch afghans from Annie’s Crochet. The book has five beautiful afghans in it with IMG_0739easy to understand step by step instructions. The instructions even have diagrams to show you the stitches. Even someone like me who really has only done basic crochet can follow the instructions and soon have a completed project. I have a sister-in-law who does beautiful work and I know she would enjoy Crocodile Stitch Afghans I may have to lend it to her.

Each pattern can be customized for men, women and children to enjoy. I love the one here on the right. Look how pretty that is and how well the colors go together.

Joyce Lewis is the designer of the book. Joyce learned to crochet as a little girl, but has only recently taken on the challenge and joy of designing and publishing patterns. Best known for her afghan blocks that use her own variation of the crocodile stitch, this is Joyce’s first publication with Annie’s.

Annie’s is a leading special-interest publisher in the craft and nostalgia markets. They have many books to pick from and you can purchase your own Crocodile Stitch Afghans at HERE at AnniesCatalog.com for $8.99. If you make an afghan from this publication - I would love a picture of it!
