I love craft projects - I see something someone has made and I want to do it. I found this great site called CreativeBug Craft Classes. They have over 300 craft workshops with all kinds of crafts including jewelery, yarn, paper and even a great section on kids crafts. CreativeBug has assembled a stellar roster of instructors from the crafting community and teamed up with professional videographers to create artisticly detailed video tutorials. Not only do they have impressive skills, but they’re genuinely awesome people who can articulate not only the process of making something by hand, but the emotional satisfaction that gets knit, stitched, painted and glued into every project.

You can purchase classes A La Carte or as part of a Subscription. I love how the video’s take you step-by-step through the process of the project. If you want to learn to crochet or knit you can find a class on it! Crochet_Hat_Formula_on_CreativebugLooking through the classes on CreativeBug has got me getting my crochet hooks out. It has been years since I have crochet - but I found this cute hate that I want to make. Here is the description of the project.

After learning basic crochet stitches, it’s time to apply your skills to a project. Cal will show you how to work in the round and make a hat in any size that you like. You’ll also learn the slipstitch to connect each round and review how to increase as you crochet. After this class, you’ll be ready to crochet hats for you and your loved ones to keep toasty all fall and winter.

What you will learn:
— Working in the round
— Slip stitch
— Increases
— Finishing

The video to go along with this is 10 minutes long and it breaks the project into sections. It makes crocheting this hat a breeze. The next project I want to do is make some granny squares. I remember making them when I was younger but have forgotten how. I want to make a throw for in the living room.

CreativeBug maybe dangerous for me because every time I go into the site I find something new I want to do! They even have canning recipes!

I am sure you will find this site as interesting as I did! The subscriptions are very reasonable priced at only $9.95 a month. You can purchase your subscription HERE.
