I like to find some easy items to add to my nightly menus that taste good ~ so I like trying new things. Last week I made Mandarin Orange Chicken from Crazy Cuizine. Crazy Cuizine is a a line of delicious and authentic Asian dishes inspired by classic Japanese, Chinese and Korean recipes that lend themselves to creativity in the kitchen.
The Crazy Cuizine meals offers a variety of fully-cooked chicken, beef and pork dishes, all of which are high in protein and free of preservatives, trans-fat and MSG. Easy to prepare and ready in 15 minutes or less, the versatile and time-saving recipes are perfect for lunch or dinner paired with your favorite grains or fresh vegetables, as well as at parties served as bite-size appetizers.
I like how easy the meals are to make and they taste great.
Here are big meaty piece of chicken. When I made the Mandarin Orange Chicken I just opened the package of chicken and placed it on a baking sheet and baked it for the amount of time the package suggested. The sauce comes in a separate package you place that in hot water to warm it. By the sauce being on the side it helps the chicken stay crispy and if you don’t like the sauce it taste great by itself! After the chicken is done you place the chicken in a bowl and mix it all together. I served mine with fried rice.
The next time I make the Mandarin Orange Chicken I am going to use it on a salad with shredded cabbage, bean sprouts, green onions, mandarin oranges, something crunchy like cashews or jiciama, then the chicken and use the sauce like a dressing. I have that on next weeks menu. I can’t wait to try the chicken this way. That’s another thing I like - how many different ways you can use the products.
Crazy Cuizine has a variety of meals that can be found at your local Albertsons, Costco and a few other stores including the following:
- Mandarin Orange Chicken
- Teriyaki chicken
- Tangerine Beef
- General Tso’s Chicken
- Korean BBQ Chicken
- Potstickers in both Chicken or in Pork
For the month of April you can find the Teriyaki Chicken, a steamed chicken breast with an original, mouth watering teriyaki sauce, at Costco locations nationwide. I need to stop in and get some - I love rice bowls for lunch and I think the Teriyaki Chicken will be perfect!
