Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta

I love finding things that will help me make fast and easy appetizers. I recently tried Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta. I have seen them in the store often in the produce section but never bought them. Bella Sun Luci uses authentic family recipe that combines sun ripened tomatoes, fresh basil, premium olive oil, and Italian herbs to create a truly “homemade” flavor. There are four great combinations:

• Julienne Cut with Extra Virgin Olive Oil ~ Tomatoes with Italian Herbs
• Tomato Halves with Extra Virgin Olive Oil ~ Italian Herbs
• Tomato Pesto Sauce with Whole Pine Nuts (my favorite)

I was excited to see what I could do with them. A couple weekends ago I went over to a Ladies Tea with some ladies from our church and I decided to make a couple things using these sauces. The first thing I did is use the Bella Sun Luci Sund Dried Tomato Bruschetta was in some pin wheels. I took some flour tortillas and spread an Italian Cheese spread on it and then I sprinkled a blend of fancy shred Italian Cheese. Next I put a light layer of the Sun Dried Tomato Pesto with whole pinenuts on it - then I rolled it up, chilled it and sliced it. It was great and the ladies loved it. They went very fast. The other item made was the traditional bruschetta - just spread the sun dried tomatoes on toasted pieces of bread and put a bit of fresh mozzarella cheese on the top. It was so good!

The next way I want to use Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta is as a condiment on a sandwich. I think it would be great on a grilled chicken sandwich with mixed greens and fresh mozzarella. That is what I am making one night this week for dinner. I am sure it will be great! I think it would also be great mixed with pasta, eggs and veggies. I can’t wait to see all the things I can make.
