One of my memories from growing up is eating cereal for breakfast. I grew up in a family of nine on a farm and my Mom helped with the chores so we didn’t have a normal sit down breakfast. We had cereal most of the time for breakfast. So when I saw these exclusive retro packaged Monster Cereals at Target I wanted to get some. I remember sitting at the table with the box in front of my bowl and reading the back and not looking at my brothers ~ who I am sure were making faces at me! I loved reading the back of the box and the ones at Target have fun things to read on them too.
Target has brought back exclusive retro packaging, and also re-introducing two throwback flavors: Fruity Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute! The other three monster cereals are the Boo-Berry, Franken Berry and Count Chocula. I loved the Count Chocula it made the milk taste like chocolate milk.

I don’t like milk so I was not much of a cereal eater but I remember eating Rice Crispies some when I was a kid.
These weren’t around when I was growing up but I bought them for my kids. Even though I was Mom, I ate them too. My favorite cereal is Cocoa Puffs but I usually eat Cheerios because they’re better for me.
