I love pretzels and I really like the new pretzel buns. I have seen a couple of the local fast food places have some great sounding sandwiches that have pretzel buns. That is why I am excited to try these buns from Pretzilla. I received the Pretzilla from Miller Baking Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
They have been hand-crafting old world recipes since 1923. So it’s only fitting we’ve taken a 12th-century invention -the pretzel- and turned it into the most delicious bun of our time. They’re available in burger buns, sausage buns, mini buns, and bite size.
The first buns I tried were the mini buns. I love to make mini sandwiches and sliders. Here are some turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich. I love the flavor of the buns - they were nice and soft but had that great pretzel taste.
I also made a great stuffed bacon and cheese hamburger and added lettuce, pickle and onion to it. It was so good on the Pretzilla hamburger bun. I love all the flavor that the bun adds to the sandwich. I am not sure who thought of making these buns but I am sure glad they did.
Pretzilla also makes these great little bite size pretzel bits. I found these were great to dip in cheese fondue and also into mustard. They are the prefect bit size snack.
If you live in the Wisconsin you can buy at many stores - in other states you can find them at Whole Foods or easier yet you can purchase them HERE online. You can also connect with Pretzilla on Facebook.
