wine-biscuits_r1_c2_s2I love to try new products or at least new to me products. I recently tried some truly amazing tasting biscuits/crackers. They are from a company called American Vintage ~ there are 3 different Wine Biscuits and 3 different Beer Biscuits. The recipes used to make these biscuits is a family recipe and each biscuit homemade and hand cut.

Let’s start with my favorite - the Wine Biscuits.

Red Wine, Black Pepper - what a great flavor combination - just a bit of pepper makes these taste great.

White Wine, Shallot, Cayenne Pepper - the white wine gives these just the flavor I like - these were my favorite. These were great with my seafood dip.

Chianti, Oregano, Crushed Red Pepper - goes great with cheese and tomato at the beginning of an Italian meal.

Pizza & Beer - these were great - I loved them just by themself

Smoky Chipotle, Lime & Beer - these had a mild smoky taste and were good served by themselves or with a nice cheese.

Smoky Chipotle, Lime & Beer - Hot! Hot! Hot! - and yes you need the 3 Hot! after it. This was a bit hotter than I normally eat - but everyone else enjoyed them.

What I liked most about all of the Biscuits is how much flavor was in each one, they could stand alone or along with a dip, cheese spread or salsa. I also like how thick they were. It made entertaining easy for me. I service the wine ones to the ladies one night and they raved about them and the Beer ones one night when we had some couples over for Mexican. Everyone comment on how good they were and that they were something they would try again.
