Thank you for stopping at my spot on the Just This Once Book Tour and Giveaway. This Online Book Tour is brought to you by Reading Addiction Blog Tours. I will provide you with a synopsis of the book, review on the book, and a small bio from Rosalind James. Visit the other blogs on this Book Tour to learn more about this book.
I really enjoyed this book. I often thought of going on a vacation by myself - but I don’t think I ever could.
Rosalind self-published the first three books in the “Escape to New Zealand” on August 31, 2012, and offered the first book, “Just This Once,” as a free download through Amazon’s Kindle Select program on September 7. The book was downloaded over 14,500 times in three days, reaching #2 in Women’s Contemporary Fiction, #7 in all Romance, and #23 among all free Kindle books. Within four days of the promotion, James had sold over 800 books, and “Just This Once” had reached #82 in Women’s Contemporary Fiction in the Amazon store. James credits the book’s overnight success to the fact that “everyone would like to escape to New Zealand! I know I did!”
Hannah works very hard and never takes times for herself. She has been there for her sister and brother since a young age. She is always available for work. She decided to travel half a world away to New Zealand for a three week vacation. She was excited to go and relax and spend time by herself and explore and see the sites of New Zealand. Her plans changed a bit after on her first day.
She couldn’t sleep so she went swimming - only she didn’t know there was a rip tide that was very strong - when she thought she was not going to make it a man with a kayak came and saved her. He got her something warm to drink and then took her to breakfast. His name was Drew and he was a famous Rugby player. They ended up spending the rest of Hannah’s vacation together. They had a wonderful time together - but too soon it was time for Hannah to go home.
Once home Hannah and Drew kept in touch and Drew visited a couple times. Which were wonderful. Drew wanted Hannah to move to New Zealand - but she wasn’t sure she could, her sister and brother needed her. Her job needed her - but she missed Drew.
You will have to read the story to see what happens next but I will tell you that I think you will like the story.
