I have been finding more products made out of safe to use Silicone. The latest product are these Kuuk Silicone Ice Cube Tray. I like to add ice to my water so these trays are great. The unique molded shape of these trays creates perfectly square cubes every time. Just add water, place in the freezer, and take them out when your ice is done. And because silicone is naturally pliable, the cubes are easier to remove than with standard trays, which can be inconvenient to use. Just pop the cubes up and enjoy.
One thing I like to do is if I have a little wine left - I like to freeze it and then use it the next time I drink wine. It keeps my wine cold without watering it down. You can do the same with juices. When cooking if you have fresh herbs left over you can freeze them in broth and use them the next time you cook. The squares are the perfect shape!
