As I start doing the items for my Christmas Gift Guide ~ I like to make sure that the items I promote are socially responsible. Like the gifts from the 2015 World Vision Gift Catalog. The HERE contains more than 250 poverty-fighting gifts, ranging in price from $16 to $39,000, that improve the quality of life for struggling children and families in the U.S. and around the world. This holiday season, I encourage you to give help where it is most needed and receive beautiful handcrafted jewelry for themselves or their loved ones.

I received this This beautiful, draped beaded necklace it is handmade by Balinese artisans in a project that helps children in Bali receive an education. The necklace is very nicely made and looks sturdy. I can picture the woman making my necklace just for me. There are many other items in the Catalog.

A few other items that are featured in the 2015 World Vision Gift Catalog are a Mango Wood Beaded Bracelet created by a community on the island of Java, they help provide a income to help feed and care for the children. There is a Royal Silk Scarf that is woven by Vietnam’s Ma Chau villagers, who receive sustainable income through their craft.

As you can tell these gifts will not only make the receiver happy but help someone in need. These are the kind of gifts I love to give and receive.

World Vision has offered one of my readers the chance to own their own Balinese Multi-strand Necklace. You must be 18+ US, DC.
