I think I mentioned a few weeks ago that I bought a new sewing machine. I have been looking at patterns and couldn’t find any I really like for tote bags. Then I remembered I had this amazing book. Tote-ally Amazing Bags has 30 projects. It includes the patterns and lots of detail on how to construct the bags. I love all the pictures and tips that are given through out the book and the best thing is they I can personalize the Totes I make.
So far I have only brought the fabric and I started laying out the pattern. I am hoping to work on my Tote after work the next couple nights and finish it. The step by step instructions are easy to read and seem very easy to follow.

I love tote bags and my daughter who attends a community college is always looking for totes to use. Most of the ones you buy do not have sturdy straps so this would be a wonderful way to correct that problem.
