So this one sounds a bit boring but really, who else is going to get him something that doesn’t fall squarely in the category of ‘functional’ or ‘business’? Probably not one to get a new guy in your life, clothes can be a bit of a minefield. Have a flick through his wardrobe before you hit the shops, make sure you know what sizes he buys and the kind of colors he goes for. There’s merit to buying something he might not choose for himself but only if he will actually wear it. Get gift receipts and don’t be too offended if he opts to take things back. Let’s be honest, these sorts of thing rarely see the light of day once the initial novelty has worn off.
