I like artificial because they do not have the needles fall all over the place. Also, it’s an investment - once you have an artificial one you will have it for many years to come.
I like the smell of a real tree but prefer a fake one of safety reasons.
I always had a real tree up until a few years ago, now I use artificial because I am getting older, the kids are all grown and out of the house and it’s hard to deal with a real tree on my own,
