About the book:

How Santa Gets His Christmas Spirit Back…

James Claussen has played Santa for years, but now that he’s a widower, he’s lost interest—in everything. So his daughter, Brooke, kidnaps him from the mall (in his Santa suit!) and takes him to Icicle Falls. She’s arranged a special Christmas at the lodge owned by long-widowed Olivia Wallace and her son, Eric. And yet…Brooke wants Dad to be happy, but she’s not ready to see someone else’s mommy kissing Santa Claus.

Single mom Missy Monroe brings her kids to the lodge, too. Lalla wants a grandma for Christmas, and her brother, Carlos, wants a dog. Missy can’t provide either one. What she’d like is an attractive, dependable man. A man like John Truman… But John’s girlfriend will be joining him in Icicle Falls, and he’s going to propose.

Of course not everything goes as planned. But sometimes the best gifts are the ones you don’t expect!

My Review:

I have just fell in love with Icicle Falls. What a great little town. I wonder if there really is a town like that. James Claussen was having a hard year, his wife had died on Christmas Eve the year before and just getting up was a chore. He didn’t feel like doing anything. He was talked into helping out at the mall as Santa a couple days but he just didn’t want to be Santa this year. On Christmas Eve his daughter kidnapped him and brought him up to stay at the Lodge in Icicle Falls. Missy who is a single mom wants her two kids to have a wonderful Christmas and she had to save all year for this weekend. John who had a surprise for his girlfriend - he was going to pop the question! Everyone looking forward to a wonderful time at Christmas. Well things never seem to turn out the way they are planned. I couldn’t put the book down once I started reading it. I am sure you will love the book, town and people as much as I did.

  1. Sounds like a good book seeing as Christmas is closer than you think.
