DP-Color-LogoI have mentioned a couple times Rex and I are trying to lose weight and eat healthier. The one thing that I found that is hard is making everything from scratch at night after coming home from work. I still want something healthy and good for us so I decided to try Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods. IMG_1673

Both Rex and I like Asian food so we decided to start with a couple of the Veggie Burgers. The first one was the Thai Veggie Burger. It had all kinds of healthy vegetables in it including red pepper, onions, carrots and string beans. Along with a lot of great spices and flavors like lemongrass and ginger. What I liked best about these veggie burgers was you could see the vegetables! You knew what you were getting.

The Asian Burger was good too - lots of flavor from brown rice, soy sauce, ginger and sesame oil. We really enjoyed both of these burgers and will have them again.

We also tried the Lightly Breaded Fish Sticks. These were great - even your kids would eat them. I liked mine with a bit of lemon on squeezed on them. They didn’t have a lot of breading which I liked.

Here is what I like best about Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods:

  • No artificial flavors or colors
  • Low in Cholesterol and saturated fats
  • Made with the finest ingredients that they can find
  • Healthy Eating
  • Great products for kids and adults

You can find Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods in may local grocery stores including Trader Joes. You can stay connected on Facebook with Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods.
