We eat a lot of pasta at my house. I love to make soups and salads and add pasta to them. I recently received some really fun shaped pasta from The Pasta Shoppe.
Here are two of the fun designs I received. Rex is a big Oregon Duck fan so he loves this pasta - I am going to use these to make a couple salads for the big Duck and Beaver Civil War game at the end of the month. We were invited to a party so I am sure they will both be a hit. One of the great things about this pasta other than the cute Duck Foot shaped Pasta is it comes with a seasoning packet and ideas of what to do with it. There are a whole line of Collegiate Pastas so I am sure you can find your team too.
I also received some seasonal pasta - The Halloween Pasta was a hit and I made a great tasting salad with it. I also still have a Snowman Pasta and a Zoo Friend Pasta that I need to make. I just love making our meals more fun with the cute pasta.
Last weekend both Rex and I were sick so I made some chicken noodle soup with these chicken shaped noodles and seasoning packet. I had left over chicken that I put in it and I was so glad it was easy to make and tasted great!
The Pasta Shoppe also has some great Spinach Basil Garlic Angel Hair pasta nest. Other than the great taste - I like that each nest is 100 calories so I can portion out a healthy amount. We had ours with some clam sauce and it was great!
We can’t forget the great tasting 7 calorie Divine Meringues. They are sweet and light! I had the vanilla bean and they were good.

This pasta would be excellent for homemade soup.
Since the spinace garlic angel hair comes in individual nests it would be perfect for me since I often eat alone. I bet it would be wonderful simply sauted with garlic and olive oil.
