imagesWhen I get a new product for the kitchen I always try to find something that I can use in multiply ways. I recently received this Whoopie Pie Pan from Good Cooks Sweet Creations Line. IMG_1871 I thought right away even though I love Whoopie Pie’s I can do so much more with this pan. I could use it to make mini quiche, breakfast sandwiches, cookies and many other things with the pan. I decided to make my favorite item to make and eat; appetizers. On Christmas Eve I have in the past had a open house and invited everyone who didn’t have family in the area to come. I made all kinds of appetizers for the people who came - sometimes up to 20 different ones. I decided to use Puff Pastry and a few different fillings and make some Appetizers.

IMG_1872For my appetizers I used puff pastry that I bought from the store or you could make your own or even use pie crust.

I made Apple Pie Puffs, Brie Cheese and Raspberry Puffs and Crab Stuffed Puffs. The Whoopie Pie Pan worked great and was the perfect size.

The first thing I did was thaw the dough and then cut out two round biscuit size pieces of dough. I put one on the bottom of the pan - filled it with the filling and then put the second piece of dough on the top and sealed it shut. I then brushed the top with egg wash and baked for about 12 minutes. They turned out so yummy!! You can make a lot of different fillings below are a few of my favorites.
