Thank you for stopping by An 8-Track to 81 Chapters. I am going to provide a book feature and interview with Robin L. Sanders.
When a Social Studies teacher assigns a special project to six high school students, (Richard, Shelly, Nathan, Charles, Morgan and Britt) they receive a lesson that may indeed change lives of many worlds. As they work on the problems set before them they come to realize that the typical real world issues that each student had been dealing with doesn’t look all that bad. As the unlikely group of misfits explores the project, they discover strengths that they were completely unaware they had.
For seven whole days they stay in a mysterious book unlocking puzzles, fighting demon-possessed statues, creating bonds with a memorable cast of characters and fighting a villain who controls the powers of the heavens. Mr. Hutchenson, a professor of social studies at St. Cardinals, is a man who plays a large part within this story, but just as the kids have to discover that, so does the reader. These six kids work on finding that strength by not only fighting the enemy, but the enemy within.

Interview with Robin L. Sanders
If you could invite any 5 people to dinner who would you choose? Bill Maher, Jimmy Fallon, John Stewart, President Obama and Lacey Chabert, because she’s hot and I had this high school crush on her.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Vanilla, it’s plain and simple and goes well with anything.
What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? I’m more likely a traditional eater; Grits, Toast, scrambled eggs and a side of bacon. Well, lots of bacon.
Night owl, or early bird? I’m more of a night owl. I used to get up around five in the morning when I was working at my last job before I became a full time author. I’m lucky if I can get up before twelve noon.
What inspired you to want to become a writer? There were many inspiring people in my life but out of them was my mother telling me about a dream she had of me becoming a famous author.
What’s one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors? Don’t be afraid to be yourself and be original. Stop trying to fit in with everyone else and write something about you.
What is your favorite Quote? “An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field.” Niels Bohr
What’s the best advice anyone has ever given you? Someone said to me that it is selfish to control others because their lives don’t belong to you. It is better to control yourself.
Hidden talent? I can make killer desserts. There was one time that I made a banana pudding for my friends going away party. Before I could grab some of my own, it was gone. I didn’t even get a chance to taste test it.
In your wildest dreams, which author would you love to co-author a book with? I would definitely love to work with Tom Clancy. I would love to write a spy book that’s in relations to today’s modern world.
