I really like crafts and I like to make new things. I just found a company that sends out monthly craft boxes called Craftistas. If you join Craftistas each month you will get a new craft project delivered right to your door. They come with step by step instructions so it is easy to complete your project. The projects also come with everything you need. I received the February kit which was a wreath wrapped with yarn and it had some burlap hearts and flowers. It was very easy to complete and I had fun doing it.
The first step in my project was to wrap the wreath with the yarn that was included. Then I made the heart and flowers out of the burlap. The last thing I did was glue it all together.
Isn’t it cute? I can use it all year round. If you can’t see - the heart says love on it.
It was a great way for me to spend my afternoon yesterday. It probably took me 2 hours to complete. Now I have a great new decoration to either on a door knob or on my wall.
I think it is great to get something new each month and to learn a new craft or improve something you already do.
