What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Rex use to only like Banana Split but then the company stopped making it so he went to plain vanilla. I have now talked him into trying different flavors and he is enjoying them all. One of his favorites is Rocku Road! Today he can celebrate National Rocky Road Day and I have a recipe a Yonanas - the small kitchen appliance helps users’ instantly covert frozen fruit into “ice cream” and has created a rich chocolate, crunchy almond and marshmallow fluff concoction to give a delicious twist on the traditional Rocky Road ice cream flavor.

The simple and healthy Rocky Road Yonanas recipe produces a treat that contains NO dairy, NO added sugar and NO artificial ingredients. Please check out the recipe below:

Ingredients:

· 2 frozen over-ripe bananas

· 3/4 Tablespoons cocoa powder

· 1 Tablespoon ricemellow creme

· 1 Tablespoon chocolate chips

· 1 Tablespoon almonds

Directions:

1. Slightly thaw your frozen fruit prior to putting through your yonanas maker.

2. Coat frozen bananas with 3/4 Tablespoons of cocoa powder

3. Insert one frozen banana

4. Add chocolate chips and almonds

5. Insert second frozen banana

6. Stir in ricemellow creme

This sure sounds like a great recipe - and if you are interested you can find Yonanas at retailers nationwide, starting at $49.99.
