I love to use them on salads, vegetables - or what ever you would normally put salt and pepper on. I think using peppercorns the pepper is fresher.
The Geenco Classic salt and pepper mills are easy to use. They use 4 AA size batteries each - once the batteries are loaded you just press the button on the top of the mill. Out comes the salt or pepper. You can adjust your grind from fine to coarse. The containers are very easy to fill. I like that the area the salt and pepper are put in is clear so you can tell when you need more.
