I love to cook and bake. I always am looking for fresh ingredients or products that are made in the US. I recently was lucky enough to try Calolea Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is from Loma Rica, California and is hand crafted. Calolea Olive Oil has been certified “extra virgin” by the COOC. The olives are hand picked, custom milled and cold pressed with 24 hours.
The olive oil I received was infused with Blood Orange which gave it a nice bright taste. I used the Calolea Olive Oil infused with Blood Orange was great for using in salads. It tasted great mixed with Balsamic Vinegar and a bit of garlic. Then poured over baby lettuce, mandarin oranges, almonds and red onions. That is one of my go to salads when I want something fresh to go with dinner. Calolean also has oil infused with Meyer Lemon and Garlic and Habanero.
Along with the Olive Oil Calolean has 3 different types of Balsamic Vinegar including a traditional one, a white balsamic and a strawberry infused one. Calolean also has a line of body care products. Which I was able to try the soap and I really liked how it left my skin feeling so soft and smooth.
If you would like to purchase any products for Calolean you can go to their website HERE.
