Since their inception, t-shirts have had an effect not only upon those who wear them, but also upon those who are around the wearer. T-shirts have a way of influencing their surroundings in special ways. Here are just a few of the influences that t-shirts have had over the years.

Make Statements

T-shirts have been a means for making statements for years; whether for protests, special movements or to bring awareness, t-shirts have been used to say things loud and proud. Even after the event or purpose has past, they serve as a constant reminder to those involved.

Start Conversations

Some iconic and some original t-shirts have compelling or interesting messages that catch the attention of those around them. This is sometimes the intent, yet other times they can be the start of a riveting, mentally stimulating conversation.

Unite

Especially when people are looking to make a universal or a large-scale message, t-shirts come in handy. They serve as a symbol of solidarity for people coming together to lift up a cause. They also help to identify people within a party should anyone get separated. Finally, they bring attention and awareness to a cause, which has proven to be an effective means to attract others.

T-shirts have had great influence over the years. With their ability to make statements, start conversations, and unite individuals, it is no wonder that they are such a strong staple in society.

  1. Your so right! T Shirts have made statements for many Years. Business names, Trends( tie & Dye) Favorite Animals, Beliefs and just plain cute sayings!! One of my Favorites is Kiss me I am Irish! I am Partially Irish that could be why~~ Lol~That side of my Family unfortunately I know very little about. My fathers Dad died when he was 3 yrs old. His name was Preston Perry. My Grandmother remarried and moved to Chicago. My Dad never had any contact with his Fathers Relatives. What a Shame. Sure wish I knew more!! :0( Thankyou for listening!!
