Dear Diary:

I have a confession to make: I’ve become a total idiot over French pastries.

They’re my new favorite food.

My new-found edible souvenir.

My new favorite sin.

Drizzled chocolate, sugar-dusted raspberries, flaky crusts with perfect crimped edges. I’ll have to run a marathon when I get back home to New York just to burn off my new five pounds. French beignets are the worst temptation. Those yeasty chocolate-filled pastries call to me the way Prada handbags call to my mother from Fifth Avenue.

Dunkin Donuts—so yesterday.

Climbing the Eiffel tower, running through miles of hallways at the Louvre Museum, gourmet lunches on the Seine River . . . yes, those are all must-sees . . . if you don’t mind vertigo-dizzying heights and enough paintings to saturate your brain for the rest of your life.

But once I discovered La Patisserie, the rest of Paris became a mere backdrop for my guilty pleasure. What’s a girl to do?

Until recently I have never used anything with Argan Oil in it. Then when I found Elma & Sana I found out how many thing Argan Oil was good for and wondered how I ever lived with out it. I use it mostly for my hair. I apply it after washing my hair to help as a leave-in treatment. It really helps my curly hair to shine. Its non-greasy and fast absorbing. You can also use it on your skin and helps strengthen soft and brittle nails. Elma & Sana carry 100% pure certified organic Cold Pressed Argan Oil in many sizes.

I tried a couple other products from Elma & Sana that I like. Another products I didn’t know a lot about was the Moroccan Rose Water. Did you know that pure rose water can tone, balance and refresh your skin? Rose Water maintains the pH balance, stimulates the regeneration process, and has a calming effect on acne and sunburns. As a result the skin texture becomes even and elastic.

The Moroccan Rose Water works great with the next product I tried the Moroccan Ghassoul Clay. This extraordinary mineral-rich clay is extracted in large clods, is washed, then sun-dried and micronized into a smooth powder. It has a number of outstanding benefits that surpass those of other clays because it contains the highest content of silica, magnesium, potassium and calcium, and because it has extraordinary absorption qualities. It can be used in a couple ways - mix it with the Rose Water for a detoxing facial. It also can be mixed with the 100% Organic Argan Oil for a super concentrated hair mask. I have used it both ways and really was happy with the results.

The next product I used was Moroccan Black Soap which is extracted from the olive nut and is know for its exfoliating and skin softening qualities. I love to use products that exfoliate my body and my faces so I was excited to use the Moroccan Black Soap. It really seemed to do the trick on my skin getting rid of the dead skin cells and softening my skin. My skin was hydrated, moisturized, revitalized and cleansed. It had a great Eucalyptus scent.

I also tried the Argan Oil Shea Butter Moisturizer this is great to use this time of year when your skin and hair are so dry. The Shea butter soothe, hydrates and balance your skin. I love to use it at night before going to bed. It makes my skin so soft and has a light lavender scent which helps me relax.

The last product that I tried is the Argan Oil Peppermint Lip Balm. This smelled great and was very refreshing. It hydrates and soothed my lips. What I liked is that it contained no preservatives, no parabans, no synthetic fragrances and no artificial colors – our 100% natural and vegetarian balm. It is something I use year round.

“I don’t want to talk about it,” she said. Once again he was close. Too close. So damn close. “At all,” she added, hearing with some alarm that her voice had softened. Everything had softened, at just his proximity. “Ever,” she whispered, and found her gaze locked on his mouth.
