I am always looking for something easy to make and take to work for lunch. I also want something that is good for you. I recently tried some products from Red’s All Natural. They have a nice variety of Burritos and Quesadillas that are 100% all natural, antibiotic & hormone free meat, rBGH free Cheese, Non-GMO, no Preservatives. The founder Mike Adair was home enjoying his wife’s burritos when he came up with the idea to produce them for everyone to enjoy.

Red’s has all kinds of great sounding and tasting Burritos and Quesadillas like Chicken Teriyaki burrito, Chicken Parm Burrito, Steak or Chicken Burrito’s. They also have some great sounding Quesadillas like Buffalo Chicken, Pulled Pork and the Chicken & Cheese one I had for lunch.

It was so easy to make - just pop in the microwave for 90 seconds and I had a great tasting lunch. Just like I would prepare in my kitchen. Add a salad and you have a nice healthy lunch. I think the Quesadillas would be great fried in a pan for a few minutes on each side making them a bit more crispy.

I love to entertain and have people over. I also like trying new products ~ so the last time the girls came over I tried some great drink mixes from Old World Gourmet. I used two different mixes the first one was a cocktail mix Vodka Lemon. It was so easy to make. I just took a ziplock bag and added the mix, water and vodka and then put it in the freezer for about 3-4 hours. When I took it out it was slushy. What a great tart, tangy and refreshing drink!

The other mix I had was the Vinolicious Blueberry Pomegranate. This was my favorite of the two - I just added a bottle of red wine to the mix and froze for 3-4 hours. It was so good! It had great flavor and it went fast.

Along with the drinks I served a few different appetizers. I know everyone had a good time. I would have both of these again or maybe try one of the other great products Old World Gourmet carries. I recently found a great place to get bath products called Honestly Simple Soaps. I was lucky enough to try a few different products from Honestly Simple Soaps and loved them all. What a great story The Corpse With The Golden Nose was. Cait Morgan and Retired police officer Bud Andersen get invited to join in the biggest foodie event in British Columbia. They were invited so that maybe they could solve the mystery of Ellen’s sister Annette’s death. The police claim suicide ~ Ellen things murder. Things are going great until there is another murder. So now they have two deaths to investigate. Could they be related? You will need to read The Corpse With The Golden Nose - the second book in the Cait Morgan series. I need to read the first one - I enjoyed this one so much.
