Turmeric is one of nature’s best kept secrets. What is turmeric?
Turmeric is a super spice that contains curcuminoids which provide healthy inflammation response and antioxidant benefits.

Rex has arthritis which is the most common joint disorder in the United States. He often wakes up in pain and does not always want to take pain killers. After doing some research we found that turmeric is a often used in Ayurvedic medicine. We decided to give it a try after checking with our doctor first to make sure it won’t interact with medications Rex was already taking.

We found Youtheory had a extra strength formula and wanted to give it a try. Rex takes two capsules a day. He has found after taking for a couple weeks he does get some relief.

What makes Youtheory Turmeric special is the Curcumin c3 complex which is 20x more absorbable than ordinary turmeric. This makes for better effectiveness and efficiency!

We believe in Youtheory. Founded in 2010 by Darren and Patty Rude, Youtheory is one of the original collagen supplement brands. Today, they have grown into one of the largest manufacturers of collagen and turmeric in the U.S. You can find the product Rex takes HERE .

You can follow @youtheory on Instagram.

I am so excited to be back working on my blog again – it is one of my favorite things to do. The last few years have had lots of ups and downs for me. The best thing that happened is that I got married. I am now Kay Tiffin! I was married June 30, 2018 to Rex – he is a great man.

We have had a great couple years and hope for many more!

My family had some bad times too – like so many other of you. One of my brothers passed away unexpectedly – darn cancer! My mother is suffering from dementia and in memory care.

Then came 2019 and Covid 19. This has touched all of our lives – mostly not in a good way. I worked in the Travel Industry for the same company the last 20+ years. I was furloughed in March of 2020 and am still looking for a job.

Like everyone else I am tired of this – I am tired of being home while my husband is gone all day. It gets so lonely and depressing at time. So I decided I need to do things I love – and my blog is one thing! I will be reviewing products and books. Sharing recipes and craft projects. I am hoping to get healthy along the way too! Let me know what you would like to hear about. I am so glad to be back and grateful for all of you! I hope for only the best for you all.

A Solution for Thinning Hair

According to the American Hair Research Society, approximately 50% of women will experience hair loss by the age of 50. Certain forms of hair extensions offer a way to disguise thinning hair, but not all types are good for thin hair.

The most optimal form of hair extensions for thinning hair are tape-in extensions. These are applied by a professional hair stylist, who uses special tape to adhere two-inch wefts of hair extensions to natural hair. These extensions are lightweight and thin, so they do not cause damage or strain to existing hair, and they don’t require the use of harmful chemicals or products.

Non-Permanent Hairstyle Change

Those looking to switch up their hairstyle without a permanent change to length can use hair extensions to achieve a new look. There are several types of non-permanent hair extensions, and many hair extensions salons nyc offer professional application services.

Clip-ins are temporary hair extensions that are applied by attaching wefts of hair extensions to the natural hair using clips. These hair extensions come in a variety of lengths and colors, and a professional stylist can help to find clients the best clip-in hair extensions for their hair color and texture.

Protective Hairstyle

For clients who want to protect their natural hair, weave hair extensions are a great option. This type of hair extension is applied by a stylist, who tightly braids the client’s natural hair before sewing hair extension wefts into the braids. This is a protective hairstyle, as the client’s natural hair is kept in braids, while the hair extensions are styled, helping to protect the natural hair from heat damage.

It is suggested that clients work with a professional hair extension salon in order to find the best hair extensions for their hair type and goals.

collagen-peptide-powder-supplement1

I recently tried a new product called Élavonne’s Amino Collagen C with Hyaluronic Acid. It is an amazing anti-aging supplement that replenishes your body with the collagen you need to keep youthful-looking hair, nails, and skin.  I like that it is all natural and that it has no preservatives.

Élavonne’s Amino Collagen is a powder that you can mix with water or your favorite drink. I have just started using Élavonne’s Amino Collagen and have found that it does mix easily.  It really doesn’t have any flavor.

I did some research before I started taking Élavonne’s Amino Collagen to find out what it should do.  This is a product that will work from the inside out.  I have taken other products with Amino Collagen and have been happy with the results.  This should help Improves skin smoothness & firmness, Prevention of deep-wrinkle formation, Improves skin moisture level and retention and Strengthens new hair and nail growth. I have also read that it should help with joint pain.  I am looking forward to the results.

Élavonne also carries a number of other natural and organic products for your skin. If you would like to purchase Élavonne’s Amino Collagen C with Hyaluronic Acid or any of there products you can do so HERE. Connect with them on Facebook.
