I love to bake and Rex love to eat what I make. Last weekend I made some great cookies from Sisters’ Gourmet. Look how pretty the jars are layered and I love the presentation with the bow and festive paper on the cover. I received two jars of cookies the Winter White Cranberry Cookies and the Crisp & Colorful Hopscotch Cookies, which happen to be one of Oprah’s favorites.
The batch I made last weekend was Winter White Cranberry. These are a light and chewy cookie mixed with white chocolate chips, sun-ripened cranberries and whole grain oats. They were so good! I couldn’t stop eating them. They were gone before I even had a chance to take a picture. Both Rex and Joey liked them too. I liked how easy they were to make – you add butter, a egg, vanilla and water to a bowl and then all the other ingredients you need are in the jar. I just dumped it out, mixed and baked. I am going to make the other jar this weekend.
