orens-kitchen-logoWhen I have people over I always like to have snacks out for them to snack on while visiting.  I found Oren’s Kitchen that makes savory nuts that have some great seasonings on them. They are very unique and very tasty. Oren’s Kitchen uses the highest-quality oil tossed with fresh herbs and spices then oven roast the nuts in small batches.

IMG_1361Oren’s Kitchen offers four great flavors.  The first and my favorite is the Coconut Chili Macadamias.  They have thinly shaved coconut toasted and blended with macadamia nuts. Then a touch of honey is added for sweetness along with just a taste of red chilies. They were the perfect combination of sweet and spicy!

The next one that we had were Smoked Paprika Pecans.  These had a bit of oak-wood smoked Spanish paprika and sea salt on the pecans. They had a good smokey taste.

The Wild Rosemary Almonds surprised me with the taste. I really liked the rosemary flavor and I didn’t think I would.  They tasted great together.

The last ones were the Indian Ajwian Cashews.  I didn’t know what to expect because I hadn’t used Ajwain before.  It is a spice that is reminiscent of fresh cedar, cumin and ghee (clarified butter).  They did have an Indian flavor and were quite good.

When I served these my friends enjoyed them and there were not any that they didn’t like. It was fun introducing some new flavor combinations to everyone.  If you would like to get your own great tasting products from Oren’s Kitchen you can order HERE.  You can also connect with them on Facebook.
