IMG_1287I have been looking for a product that helps itchy, dry skin. I recently tried Monkey Balm and really liked it.  At first I thought maybe it was for kids only but it is for anyone that has itchy skin, eczema and extreme dry-skin.

About 2 years ago I noticed a red mark on the top of my left foot ~ at first I just thought it was a bug bite – but it got bigger and started itching.  So I went to a dermatologist and he found it was a sort of a birth mark that you can get later in life and that it may grow bigger.  I don’t really care about what it looks like – but it itches.  I have tried a ton of different products and none seem to work.  So I decided to try the Monkey Balm that I received and to my surprise after about three days it didn’t itch as much and now it does only if I forget to put the balm on.

Why does it work?  It contains  Organic Sea Buckthorn oil and it is clinically proven to improve symptoms of eczema, extreme dryness, even burns and wounds. I have used products with Organic Sea Buckthorn in them and know that it has great healing qualities. Monkey Balm also has natural soothing botanical ingredients alleviate irritation and smooth rough skin. It is easy to use and has a no-mess applicator.

I love that it is 100% all-natural. Monkey Balm was created by a mother looking for something to help her boys dry skin that didn’t sting when she put it on and that it worked.  The results is this great Monkey Balm.  Safe enough to use on infants and can be used by adults too.

Most of these work somewhat, but not enough. It’s most aggravating at night. I am excited to hear about Monkey Balm. What a suitable find for me! If it helps my itching, that would be wonderful! Additionally, we have had live monkeys for nearly twenty years. They are a major part of our family. Any product with “monkey” in the name is something we purchase.
