I recently tired a couple great chef-prepared healthy meals that were delivered right to my door. They were from MagicKitchen.com. Some nights you just don’t feel like preparing anything to eat and what would be easier than just heating up a great chef-prepared meal. I think these meals will be great if you know someone who was recovering from surgery, family emergency, or even an elderly family member. They come in containers packed with dry ice so when they arrive they are frozen.
The first meal we tried was the Beef Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes. The Beef Pot Roast was so good and tender. It had a nice gravy over the top and was very easy to prepare. I put it in the microwave for a short time. It was a two serving meal but there was more than enough for 3. The mashed potatoes were good too. These I just heated up too. Rex said the meal was a 10!
Here was the dessert Cherry Bread Pudding. Yum!! It was very good, moist and a great sauce over the top. It has been awhile since I had bread pudding and the cherry’s made it extra special. This I heated in the oven while we ate the main courses.

I also tried a Low Carb meal. This is the Chicken Ana Luisa a blend of imported gourmet cheeses in a rich cream sauce, delicate pieces of artichoke and pieces of savory gourmet ham make up this stuffed chicken breast. We had Broccoli & Cauliflower with cheese sauce to round out this meal. It was so good and easy – I baked both in the oven.
