One of the things I really like about my blog is all the different and new products I get to try and review.  I recently received Woolzies Dryer Balls.  Since I am really trying to be more environmentally aware this was a great find.  What are Woolzie’s?  They are pure handmade wool dryer balls. They are used to help soften your laundry naturally.  No more drier sheets or fabric softener.  Just think the money you will save – the Woolzies Dryer Balls last through 1,000 drier loads.  Think no more plastic containers to recycle! No more harsh chemicals that are toxic to the environment and to some people.

Woolzies are made out of New Zealand wool. They are hypo-allergenic and totally safe for people who are sensitive to wool as they do not shed in your laundry.

I remember reading a few years ago that in order t help your laundry dry faster and with out wrinkling you should use a rubber ball or tennis ball.  This is kind of the same thing with using Woolzies except they help dry your clothes 25% faster and they do help so that your clothes don’t wrinkle.  The bouncing around in your dryer creates space between your laundry and helps cut down the drying time. Woolzies are safe and PVC free so they won’t melt, so no chemicals being released in the air when you use them.

You place 6 handmade balls in the dryer with each load.  You will notice they are a bit miss shaped as they are made by hand in the democratic republic of Nepal.  They provide a steady income to the desperately needy women of Nepal a developing nation. So not only are you doing something good for yourself – but you are helping out the environment and helping people in need of a job.  The Woolzies come in a box of 6 and last 1,000 loads of clothes.

I really like my Woolzies Dryer Balls and glad that I was able to find them.  I am happy to be saving money, time and the environment.

Woolzies are very cost effective and $34.95 and can be purchased HERE.  There is free shipping in the US and $6.95 for international shipping.  What a great investment!

Woolzies has offered one of my readers a chance to win a set of Woolzies Dryer balls.  You must be 18+ and have a US shipping address. Leave a comment on why you would like to win.  Extra entries for Liking Woolzies Dryer Balls on Facebook and extra entries for each way you follow Kaisy Daisy’s Corner.  Give away ends on Apr 29, 2013.
