I am so excited to be back working on my blog again – it is one of my favorite things to do. The last few years have had lots of ups and downs for me. The best thing that happened is that I got married. I am now Kay Tiffin! I was married June 30, 2018 to Rex – he is a great man.

We have had a great couple years and hope for many more!

My family had some bad times too – like so many other of you. One of my brothers passed away unexpectedly – darn cancer! My mother is suffering from dementia and in memory care.

Then came 2019 and Covid 19. This has touched all of our lives – mostly not in a good way. I worked in the Travel Industry for the same company the last 20+ years. I was furloughed in March of 2020 and am still looking for a job.

Like everyone else I am tired of this – I am tired of being home while my husband is gone all day. It gets so lonely and depressing at time. So I decided I need to do things I love – and my blog is one thing! I will be reviewing products and books. Sharing recipes and craft projects. I am hoping to get healthy along the way too! Let me know what you would like to hear about. I am so glad to be back and grateful for all of you! I hope for only the best for you all.

  1. Welcome back & congratulations on your marriage. I’m so sorry about your job. I know the travel industry was smashed. I really want to travel to Ireland, Scotland, England…you get the picture! I’m just so afraid to make plans because of the uncertainty of it all. I’m really glad you’re back to your blog & doing book reviews with Great Escapes!

    • Thanks! I agree with you I don’t think I will be making any travel plans for awhile – I would hate to get stranded because of Covid-19. I am glad to be back to blogging and book reviews – I have missed it. It is something I really love doing!
      Kay
