I love finding and then trying new things.  I recently came across  DutchCountryPantry.com. DutchCountryPantry.com, specializing in Wet-Bottom Shoofly Pie and Birch Beer, is a subsidiary of PaDutch.tel and is owned by Lonnie and Shannon Kauffman, who live in the middle of Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County.

The business was formed in 2008 with the purpose of selling Amish style foods that are renowned in Pennsylvania’s Dutch Country and around the world for taste, style, and quality.

I was lucky enough to try the famous Wet-Bottom Shoofly Pie and it was great. I had never had Shoofly Pie and I was surprised at how flavorful it was.  I love the crumble topping and the gooey bottom.  It had just enough sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth. I shared it with the girls in my office and they enjoyed it too.

I also tried Homemade Wide Noodles.  They were great!  The noodles cooked up fast and were not sticky or mushy. They tasted so fresh and were just thick enough to hold the sauce from the Chicken Stroganoff.

DutchCountryPantry.com carries such a large variety of items.  They have jams, apple butter, canned beets, pickles, Homemade Chow-Chow, some fresh baked items and even the  Birch Beer that they are known for.

DutchCountryPantry.com makes it easy to order and your order is shipped right to your door.  They have very reasonable on all their products and Flat Rate $10 FedEx Ground Shipping, but it’s ABSOLUTELY FREE on orders over $75!

DutchCountryPantry.com would like to give one of my readers the chance to try one of their famous 9″ Wet-Bottom Shoofly Pies.  In order to win you must be 13+ and have a US shipping address and leave a comment on something you would like to try from DutchCountryPantry.com.  Extra entries for each way you follow Kaisy Daisy’s Corner.  Giveaway ends on Mar 14, 2013.
