Cheesecake, Love, and Murder!
It’s the Grand Opening for Holly Hart’s new business, Just Cheesecake. When footprints in the frosting lead to a body facedown in one of her cheesecakes, Holly becomes a prime suspect.
With her opening day delayed, Holly deals with a nosy no-good reporter and the local cop, the handsome Officer Trinket, as she puts her sleuthing skills to the test to save her business and her name. With the help of her dog, Muffins, she needs to find the real murderer, before the killer looks to frost someone else.

My Review:
I really enjoyed Footprints in the Frosting – in fact I read it in an afternoon. Holly Hart has moved away from her family to a small town to open her own business. She is all excited about her Grand Opening of Just Cheesecake, but when she awakes on the morning of the grand opening something doesn’t feel right. The first thing she notices is her dog is missing – how would he have gotten out? She goes out to look for him in her pajamas and ends up finding a body in her store face down in cheese cake filling. How did the body get there? Who is it? Why would someone murder someone in her store? She has no friends or enemy’s in town. You will want to read Footprints in the Frosting to find out. I can’t wait for the next book in the Holly Hart Cozy Mystery series!
