The other day when I was traveling back from Wisconsin there was a young girl sitting next to me.  She was working on a knitting project and it reminded me of how much I love to knit and make different projects.  I like that it is back in style to make scarfs, hats, mittens, sweaters, blankets and more by knitting.  Once you learn a couple basic stitches you can pretty much make anything.

I was lucky to be taught to knit by my sisters when I was young. I have been creating all kinds of projects for years.  I love the process of starting something new and of completing something.  Many of the things I make I giveaway.  Right now I am working on a couple blankets for one of our friends daughters.  I know they will love them when I am done. I also love the feel of yarn. I am always buying more yarn and have quite the collection; just ask Rex.

I recently found this site called KnitCrate.  They have a great program that you can sign up for and they send you a KnitCrate each month.  Here is what is included in the monthly package:

  1. Premium yarn by a different company each month
  2. Pattern(s) for a surprise project suitable for your subscription level**
  3. Enough YUMMY yarn to complete the pattern
  4. A Sweet/Soothing extra to enjoy
  5. A Fun Extra to love
  6. Bonuses like promo codes with exclusive discounts

I am getting the June KnitCrate and can’t wait to share it with you!  Along with the KnitCrate they offer kits, yarn and other items to help complete your projects.  They also have a program to help you learn how to knit if you don’t know how. It is a great program with yarn, instructions, needles and videos to get you started.

You can follow KnitCrate on their social media sites.
