IMG_0999(2)I have been traveling a bit lately and hate that I have not been able to lock my checked luggage.  I had been worried about the TSA cutting my lock off so they could check my bag.  I recently received this  Master Lock No. 4692D  you set your own combination and it is  TSA-Accepted. I has a wide metal body and is durable. The shackle is made of steel.  So it can not be easily cut off. Here are some of the product features:

  • Allows TSA screeners to inspect and relock baggage, without damaging the lock
  • Easy to set & reset numeric combination
  • 1-1/4in (32mm) Wide durable metal body with leatherette cover
  • 3 dial combination security for keyless convenience
  • Unique side window for easy combination viewing

What I like is that the numbers are big enough to read – now that I am getting older it is harder to read the small numbers. It is sturdy and can be used on your luggage, gym bag, brief case or even a jewelery box.

Master Lock is a great place to look for any type of lock you need.  Their products are durable, strong and long lasting.  You can find Master Lock nationwide at many stores including Target and Home Depot.

  1. I love that this lock is so great for traveling. Master Lock has always been a good company

  2. Ever since seeing a certain episode of Orange is the New Black, I’ve become so paranoid about my luggage! This looks like the perfect lock. I need to pick one up for our Summer trip. I could use some peace of mind!

  3. Finally a solution for putting locks on luggage while flying! I love the larger numbers (Sigh) and the sturdiness look to the lock!
